Keep it easy and light
Reassure them that messages don’t have to be long, serious, or perfect. Simple, warm — even playful — messages are often the most motivating.

 Invite encouragement, not judgment
Let them know they’re not fixing, advising, or evaluating. Their are simply encouraging you — in a way that feels natural to them

Help them understand the process.

They have a voicemail box on your account and can call and leave a new message any time.
